Excellent LA Benge Claude Gordon model trumpet. Excellent condition with a few minor worn spots in the silver and one small ding which can bee seen in the photos.

All slides are in good condition and move freely. The pistons are in excellent condition and have metal valve guides.

Benge described the Claude Gordon model several ways in catalogs and advertisements over the years:

• "Superb artists instrument with freedom and power of a large bore but with the grip and control of a medium bore."

The body of the Claude Gordon model is .468" and there is a "choke" or reduction to .464" where the bell crook meets the first valve casing.
